- 1-2 tsp Ginger green chilli paste
- 1/2 tsp Chopped garlic
- as per taste Salt
- as needed Turmeric powder
- as per need Red chilli powder
- as required Coriander powder
- as needed Chopped coriander
- For Gatte ka saag,
- 250 gms gram flour
- as per taste Salt
- Pinch hing
- Pinch ajwain
- as required Red chilli powder
- as required Turmeric powder
- 2 tsp oil
- 1/2 cup chopped onions
- 1/2 chopped tomatoes
- as per taste Garam masala
Instructions to make to make Dal Bati
- I took 2 cups missi aata (wheat + jawar + bajra + soyabean + makka + ragi). To it added salt as per taste, 1/4 tsp ajwain and 2 tsp vegetable oil. Knead a soft dough using water. Kept it aside for 15 minutes.



- Rolled dough into baati, boiled in hot water for 10 minutes. Let it cool and then grill in gas tandoor or oven or over cow dung cakes 😊. Bake it in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 25 minutes.


- For gatte ka saag...
250gms besan + ajwain +hing + salt to taste + red chill powder +turmeric +2 tbsp of oil. Knead this to a dough. Draw this dough to strips and boil in water for 10mins with a lid. Then after removing, cut to pieces. Heat oil in a pan. Allow jeera to crackle. Add chopped onions. Cook for few minutes. Then add chopped tomatoes. Add turmeric, garam masala and salt according to taste. Add some water and chopped coriander.
- Pressure cook dal with little salt, turmeric powder and grated ginger. Heat oil in a pan, crackle jeera,hing and mustard seeds, Add ginger green chilli paste and chopped garlic. Cook for some while. Add spices and cooked dal. Give a good mix.
- The jeera aalooo..
After heating oil in a pan, crackle jeera and mustard seeds.Then add curry leaves and hing. Add chopped boiled potatoes in it and flavor it with salt and turmeric. Sprinkle chopped coriander. - Rice is pan cooked and after straining added a few drops of kewra water

- Serve with achaar, lehsun ki chutney, Aam panna and Chhaanch.
